Global Village Working Group
to deliver safe, sustainable compression solutions to LF- and podoconiosis-endemic communities.
Despite the overwhelming need for specialised care in almost every country, access remains unequal and poorly resourced. Specialised compression therapy in particularly is difficult to access in communities where even basic healthcare resources are limited.
To address this gap, the Global Village Compression Working Party has been formed to connect health professionals with underserved communities in LF- and podoconiosis-endemic countries.

I sometimes think Level 1 is the most difficult course for new MLD Therapists, as they try to master the fine motor skills that define the original Dr Vodder method.
Like all our Graduates these new MLD Trainees will have ongoing mentoring and support from Accredited Instructors as they practice their new techniques and sequences.
Well done everyone in the Sydney class!
